EQC Annual Report 2012-2013

The closing days of this financial year saw EQC pass the half way mark in its Canterbury home repair programme. More than 40,000 homes have been repaired and we are committed to completing the rest by the end of 2014.
While the rebuild necessarily required EQC to focus its attention on Canterbury during the past 12 months, the Commission is a national organisation and it has continued to play a crucial role in building New Zealand’s financial, physical and social resilience to natural disasters.
