Abstract
This report summarises a body of research into the impacts of cash settlement of insurance claims following the 2016 Kaikōura/Hurunui earthquake. Based on claims and consent data analysis, a claimant survey and stakeholder interviews, this research provides lessons for residential recovery following future events in Aotearoa New Zealand.
